To the delight of film score fans, but to the horror of camp counsellors, Waxwork Records has officially confirmed that it will deliver the next instalment of its Friday the 13th soundtrack series this spring. The first-ever vinyl pressing of Harry Manfredini's score to 1981's Friday the 13th Part 2 heads our way May 8. Like the first Friday the 13th soundtrack, which the label released in 2014, the upcoming collection was composed by Manfredini. He had found the original tapes recently in the Paramount Pictures vaults, and helped restored and mastered the material...
