It's the Grateful Dead's 50th anniversary this year, and as the surviving members of the legendary jam band say goodbye with some farewell shows and a documentary, one of their classic live shows is getting a vinyl reissue through Light in the Attic's Future Days Recordings imprint. Three from the Vault will be available on March 24. This live set was recorded at Port Chester, NY's Capitol Theatre in 1971. At the time, drummer Mickey Hart had temporarily left the band, leaving the five-piece lineup of Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Ron "Pigpen" McKernan and Bill Kreutzmann. ...
