Following the release of last fall's "Summer Sun" single, naturally sweetened Saskatoon indie rock outfit Slow Down Molasses have solidified plans to issue that song and more on an upcoming LP. The group's Burnt Black Cars will arrive May 12 through Culvert Music. The album will be the group's first since 2011's Walk into the Sea. Though a tracklisting has yet to arrive in full, a press release notes that the LP will indeed contain "Summer Sun" and various songs said to touch upon "societal struggle" and "normal, human moments." It was mixed by Besnard Lakes' Jace Lasek. ...
