Exploratory jazzman Peter Brötzmann is now 74, but rather than slow down in his senior years, the saxophonist will be coming to North America this May for a spring tour. The outing will last for just over two weeks through the middle of May. In that time, he will play a string of U.S. gigs followed by five Canadian shows. He has dates in Calgary, Edmonton, Kelowna, Victoria and Halifax. Most of the shows are with a trio lineup that also includes bassist William Parker and drummer Hamid Drake.
