Soul legend Mavis Staples recently helped to finish off a posthumous album by her dad Pops Staples, but now she's pressing ahead with some new music of her own. She has an EP called Your Good Fortune due out on April 21 through Anti-. While Staples has recorded her last couple of albums with Wilco's Jeff Tweedy, this EP was produced by Anti- labelmate Son Little.
