One of Mint Records' current bands is paying tribute to one of its classic acts, as garage rock outfit Tough Age have announced plans to release an EP of cub covers. Tough Age Plays cub's Hot Dog Day will be out for Record Store Day on April 18. As the title indicates, this 7-inch features new versions of all six songs from cub's 1993 effort Hot Dog Day. It was produced by returning collaborator Jay Arner at a Vancouver space called the Family Christmas.
