Iconic producer, songwriter and music industry insider Kim Fowley has passed away following a battle with bladder cancer. He was 75. The Los Angeles resident rose to prominence in the early '60s, producing hits like "Alley Oop" by the Hollywood Argyles, "Like, Long Hair" by Paul Revere and the Raiders, and "Popsicles and Icicles" by the Murmaids. He also wrote the instrumental hit "Nut Rocker" for B. Bumble and the Stingers.
