In our review of LoneLady's debut album, Nerve Up, we said that it sounded like Manchester songwriter-producer Julie Campbell "is just getting warmed up." We may have been wrong, however, since it's taken her five years to make the follow-up. Now, finally she's announced that the sophomore effort Hinterland will be out on March 24 through Warp Records. Campbell recorded and mixed the album at her home studio, playing guitar, keyboards, cello, vocals, drum machines and more. Production was completed with Bill Skibbe (Austra, the Dead Weather) at his Key Club Recording...
